This is Australia’s first national Early Years Learning Framework for early childhood educators. The aim of this document is to extend and enrich children’s learning from birth to five years and through the
transition to school.
The Early Years Learning Framework identifies that positive attitudes and competencies in literacy and numeracy are important aspects of communication and are vital for children’s successful learning. The foundation for these competencies is built in early childhood.
REFLECT RESPECT RELATE is a resource for supporting the quality of teaching and learning in early childhood settings.
